YE “Unwind to Unite”

Summary

The Unwind to Unite project by IPA Holland is designed to help young people navigate the challenges of living in a fast-paced, tech-driven world. Based on conversations with participants, three core themes were identified: Finding Yourself in a Tech-Driven World – Helping youth manage digital distractions, develop digital skills, and stay true to themselves amid constant technological influences; Unity and Diversity – Encouraging intercultural dialogue and understanding through youth exchanges, aiming to break stereotypes and foster meaningful cross-cultural relationships; Nature Exploration & Eco Activities – Reconnecting participants with nature to promote environmental awareness and personal reflection, with a focus on sustainability and climate action.

Main objectives:

  • creating a safe, informal learning environment.

  • promoting cultural awareness, tolerance, and the challenging of stereotypes.

  • boosting participants’ self-confidence and helping them realize their potential.

  • recognizing competencies through Youthpass certification.

  • encouraging engagement with Erasmus+ as a tool for cultural education and youth mo-

    bility.

Participant profile:

  • Croatian residency

  • 16 - 25 years old

  • young person who wants to expand their knowledge about the topic

  • wants to learn new skills, methods, and tools

  • can communicate in English on a sufficient level

  • the project is fully financed by the European Commission as part of the Erasmus+ Programme

  • cost of food, accommodation and travel (up to 309€) is fully covered!
