Dissemination article
For our dissemination task, Veronica and I had to present the activities held in the Florence Erasmus Training Course program called “Your Game”. In the project we learned about games and how they work, their fundamental characteristics, and how to create our own game.
We held an online presentation in front of 6 people, talking about the project and its ideas, we started by introducing the project, location, and project organizers; talked a bit about the schedule and what we’ve done in those 7 days, and then moved onto games and what we’ve learned.
We explained games in general and are determiners of a game, and we explained how we were supposed to develop a game of our own. We described the parameters of Smuggler’s run, allowing the participants in dissemination to ask questions about the game: the topic, the rules, etc.
In the end, we mentioned other games that were played at the project, such as The Three Monkeys. We explained the educative purposes of each game (although Smuggler’s Run may not be the best educative material, it possesses purposes of learning how to trade, plan, and think in advance).
