2024-2-FR02-KA220-YOU-000292285

Summary:

The Expanding New Generations’ Access to Governance and Engagement (ENGAGE) project addresses the urgent need to counter political polarization among European youth and enhance their civic and political participation. ENGAGE empowers youth aged 15-24 across five European countries to actively engage in democratic processes by equipping them with knowledge of European values, critical civic competences, and a strong sense of European identity.

By fostering informed, constructive participation, the project seeks to mitigate the rise of Euroscepticism and far-right ideologies while encouraging youth to become active contributors to inclusive, democratic societies. Through awareness-raising campaigns, skills development workshops, and youth-led initiatives, ENGAGE takes a comprehensive approach to improving youth civic education and political literacy.
