TC “Empowering Youth Workers for Impact”

Summary

The course responds to a growing need in the youth sector: youth workers are expected to cover multiple roles: mentor, facilitator, project manager, community builder, digital educator, yet they often lack the structured support, recognition and professional pathways required to perform these roles effectively. Through a highly dynamic program based on non-formal education, the training will guide participants in mapping the diverse roles that youth workers take on, identifying the skills and competences needed for each role, and analyzing the challenges and support needs faced in their daily practice. Participants will explore the ETS Competence Model for Youth Workers, learn how to assess their own competences, and discover concrete strategies, tools and resources to strengthen their work with young people.
