TC “Transformative Training for Gender Equality”

Summary

The project is motivated by the need to equip youth workers who are often at the forefront of community engagement—with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to promote gender equality effectively. The participants will be youth workers who, while not specialists in gender equality, are eager to learn and passionate about making a difference in their communities. It will cover a range of topics to help youth workers effectively understand and address gender-related issues in their communities and to coach others on the importance of gender equality.

Main objectives:

  • equip youth workers with a comprehensive understanding of gender equality, its significance, and the challenges faced in various contexts.

  • provide participants with practical tools and methodologies to advocate and promote gender equality effectively. Through participatory, non-formal education methods, youth workers will learn how to apply gender inclusive approaches in their programs and activities

  • generate best practices and resources: create and share best practices and resources for promoting gender equality in youth work

Participant profile:

  • Croatian residency

  • 18+ years old

  • youth worker or actively involved in the work of an organization

  • wants to improve their knowledge of gender equality

  • wants to learn new skills, methods, and tools

  • can communicate in English on a sufficient level

  • the project is fully financed by the European Commission as part of the Erasmus+ Programme

  • cost of food, accommodation and travel (up to 395€) is fully covered!
